Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Salesforce platform within an organization. Salesforce is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps companies manage their sales, customer service, marketing, and other business processes. The role of a Salesforce Administrator involves a variety of tasks to ensure the effective and efficient use of Salesforce within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage user accounts, profiles, and roles. Ensure proper access and permissions for different users based on their roles and responsibilities.
- Customize Salesforce to meet the organization's specific needs. This includes creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types.
- Import, update, and maintain data in Salesforce. Ensure data accuracy and integrity. Perform data deduplication and cleansing activities.
- Design and implement workflows and process automation to streamline business processes. This may involve creating triggers, workflows, and approval processes.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics. Help users create and customize their own reports.
- Integrate Salesforce with other third-party applications and systems. Ensure data flows smoothly between Salesforce and other tools.
- Implement and manage security settings, including field-level security, sharing rules, and data security. Regularly review and audit security settings.
- Address and resolve issues reported by users. Provide support and training to users as needed.
- Keep abreast of Salesforce updates and releases. Plan and execute the deployment of new features and enhancements.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes. Document best practices and guidelines for users.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish.
- 2+ years of professional working experience.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is a significant advantage.
- Additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder may be beneficial.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.
