A Product Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the development, planning, marketing, and performance of a product or a line of products throughout their lifecycle. The role requires a combination of technical, business, and communication skills to effectively guide a product from conception to market success.
This role is 100% remote in Colombia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to inform product strategy.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the timeline for feature releases and product enhancements.
- Prioritize features and improvements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between teams to ensure product success.
- Collaborate with the development team to define product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Oversee the product development process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer education.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and make adjustments as necessary.
- Evaluate and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
- Determine product life cycle stages and plan for updates, enhancements, or product retirements.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and internal teams, to gather input and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets for product development and marketing activities.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize product success within budget constraints.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, computer science, etc.);
- Proven 6 - 10 years experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with product management tools and software.
- Leadership and team collaboration.
- Decision-making and problem-solving.
- Results-oriented and goal-driven.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
